Who this is for
Release managers, build owners, and engineering directors who already collect some build and compile numbers but cannot trust them when a cut date slips. Typical clients ship multi-module applications, maintain long CI queues, or run compile farms that burn budget without a clear story.
Result you leave with
A short audit ledger that names which measurements are reliable, which are decorative, and which three changes would most improve decision quality before the next release window.
Scope included
- Kickoff interview with the people who own build queues and compile infrastructure
- Inventory of existing build-duration, cache-hit, and compile-stage records
- Cross-check against two recent releases (one smooth, one painful)
- Written gap list and a ranked instrumentation plan
- Close-out briefing (90 minutes) with the named stakeholders
Excluded
- Product installation or licence negotiation
- Full CI redesign or staff augmentation
- Ongoing monitoring operations after the close-out
Provider & process
Delivered by a Compiler Vertex Point advisor. Week one: interviews and evidence pull. Week two: analysis and draft ledger. Final days: review with your team and handoff of the priority list.
Preparation
Please share anonymised build duration exports, compile stage summaries for the last 30–60 days, and a short note on the last release that missed its window. NDA available on request.
Constraints
We work in English. On-site days are based from Perth; interstate travel is quoted separately. We will not publish client figures without written consent.
Price basis
Fixed fee from AUD 6,800 for a single application family or CI estate. Larger multi-product estates are quoted after a short scoping call.
Next step
Request a briefing and mention the build & compile analytics audit. Include a sentence on your compile context so we can confirm fit within two business days.
