This policy applies to paid advisory engagements with Compiler Vertex Point: audits, workshops, compile cost reviews, and coaching calls described on this site. It does not cover physical goods or software licences—we do not sell those.
Eligibility
Refunds depend on engagement type, notice given, and whether work has started. Australian Consumer Law rights that cannot be excluded remain available.
Timeframes & notice

Deposits
Audits and multi-day reviews typically require a 40% deposit. The deposit secures the start week. If we cancel, the deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel after kickoff materials have been reviewed, the deposit is non-refundable unless required otherwise by law.
Non-refundable items
- Travel and lodging booked with your written approval (billed at cost)
- Third-party room hire reserved for a workshop at your request
- Work already delivered (draft ledgers, charters, cost maps) for completed phases
Work already started
Once interviews or evidence review have begun, fees for completed phases are payable. Remaining unused phases may be cancelled with written notice; we invoice only for time and deliverables completed.
No-shows & rescheduling
Workshop no-shows without notice forfeit the fee. One reschedule is allowed without charge if requested at least five business days ahead (workshop) or three business days ahead (day-rate start). Further reschedules may incur a AUD 250 administration fee.
Purchased materials
We do not sell kits or physical materials. Client-supplied data remains yours; copies we hold are handled under the privacy notice.
Refund process & timing
Email hello@compilervertexpoint.digital with the engagement reference, reason, and preferred outcome (refund or credit). We confirm within five business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten business days of approval.
