Information we collect
- Enquiry data — name, email, optional engagement interest, compile/build context, and message content you submit
- Communication records — emails and call notes related to scoping or delivery
- Technical data — limited server or analytics logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) when analytics cookies are accepted
- Engagement materials — logs and documents you provide under an engagement (treated as confidential business information; may incidentally contain personal data)
We do not seek sensitive information through the public form. Please do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, or health information.
Purposes
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver contracted work, improve the site (when analytics are allowed), and meet legal obligations.
Legal bases / Australian context
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where applicable. For overseas visitors, analogous legitimate-interest and consent bases may apply depending on local law.
Retention
- Enquiry messages: up to 24 months after the last correspondence, unless a contract follows
- Contract and invoice records: seven years (or longer if required by law)
- Analytics events: retained according to the analytics tool’s settings, typically 14–26 months
- Engagement workpapers: retained for the period stated in the statement of work, then securely deleted or returned
Sharing
We use service providers for email, hosting, and (if accepted) analytics. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside Australia. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards (such as contractual clauses) consistent with applicable Australian requirements.
Your rights
Subject to Australian law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, and you may complain to us.
