This notice explains how https://compilervertexpoint.digital uses cookies and similar storage. It should be read with our privacy notice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. Local storage may hold similar preferences (including your cookie choice on this site).
How we use them
- Essential — required for basic operation and to remember your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear every visit
- Analytics — optional; help us understand which pages are read. These run only if you press Accept on the cookie banner
Rejecting optional cookies does not block reading the site, submitting the enquiry form, or viewing content.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
compilervertexpoint_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner | Until cleared (localStorage) | Compiler Vertex Point |
cvp_session | Maintains basic session integrity for form posting where applicable | Session | Compiler Vertex Point |
_ga / _ga_* | Distinguishes visitors for aggregate page analytics (only if accepted) | up to 24 months | Google Analytics (if enabled) |
_gid | Distinguishes visitors for short-term analytics (only if accepted) | 24 hours | Google Analytics (if enabled) |
If analytics tools are not active on a given deployment, analytics cookies simply will not be set even after Accept.
Managing cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner when it appears. You can clear site data in your browser to reset the choice; the banner will show again on the next visit. You may also block cookies in browser settings; essential preference storage may then be unavailable and the banner may reappear.
Third-party cookies
Analytics providers (when enabled) may set their own cookies subject to their policies. We do not use advertising networks on this site.
Impact of disabling
Essential preference storage may reset. Optional analytics will not run if you reject or block those cookies. Site content and enquiry submission remain available.
